Rape case filed as Filipino reneges on cash after sex Baby boy abandoned in the bus
KUWAIT CITY, June 2: A Filipino woman registered a case against her compatriot at Fintas police station and accused him of kidnap and rape, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The woman claimed the man offered her a ride, and then forced her into an apartment and raped her.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the man had sex with the complainant after he agreed to pay a specific amount of money for her service. However, the man reneged when he had satisfied his sexual urge. Police have registered the case for further investigation.
Baby left in bus: A bus driver found a baby boy abandoned at the back seat of his bus, shortly before delivering the bus to the company around 9:00 pm Friday, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The driver reported the incident to security operatives at the Capital Governorate and rescue officers, led by Assistant Director General of the sector Lieutenant Colonel Meshal Al-Khamis, responded promptly.
The driver explained that his company, which has its headquarters close to the General Traffic Directorate in Shuwaikh, does not run local transport because it has been established for tourism.
According to the driver, he was surprised to hear the strange cry of a baby from the back seat, while on his way from Fahaheel, then he found the baby wrapped in a blanket. The baby has since been sent to Al-Sabah Hospital for medical attention, while investigation is ongoing to determine how he got into the bus, and to uncover the mother’s identity.
