KUWAIT CITY, June 3: The Jahra police have arrested an unidentified armed juvenile who specialized in robbing passersby of their valuables.
According to security sources the suspect was caught red-handed. During interrogation at a police station the juvenile is said to have admitted to committing 10 thefts.
The investigations are continuing.
Meanwhile, police have arrested two unidentified youths for drinking alcohol.
Security sources said the youths were seated inside the car and their behavior alerted patrolmen on duty in Salmiya.
When police asked the youths to show their IDs, they got the smell of alcohol. They have been referred to the concerned authorities.
In another development, an unidentified Jordanian man who was seriously injured following a fight with an unidentified person has been admitted to a hospital.
Acting on information paramedics and police rushed to the spot and saw the man bleeding from the head. Police are looking for the other man.
And when the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received information about a fire in one of the apartments in Farwaniya firemen rushed to the spot and put out the fire.
 No casualties have been reported. The cause or the extent of the damage is not known.
