Two MoE mistakes revealed during directors meeting ‘Strict action should be taken against cheating’

KUWAIT CITY, June 8: The Principal of a school from Hawally Educational Zone revealed two mistakes made by the high school examination committee in the Constitutional Test during a meeting among the directors of schools.
Even though she tried several times to reach the Ministry of Education through the hotline to find a solution to the problem, no one responded to her calls. Eventually the technical department of the school solved the issue technically.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education Mohammad Al-Kandari said he was unaware about the issue and promised to find out how the problem occurred.
He also said strict action should be taken against cheating and using mobile phones inside the examination rooms.
He also stressed on the necessity to inform committee representatives to adhere to time and not be late, adding that the papers’ envelope should be opened only inside the examination room.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Muna Al-Lughani insisted that principals should submit medical and absenteeism reports, adding that students should know they are supposed to bring these reports in order to avoid any legal charges against them.
