KUWAIT CITY, June 12: Police have released a woman who was arrested following a missing persons report filed at a local police station by her husband, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source said the wife was seized from a rented apartment in Aqila and police discovered she was living alone. There are no suspicions of any immoral activity.
According to reliable sources, the wife during interrogation admitted to leaving the house because the husband entertained transvestites inside the house.

Canadian assaulted: When a young Canadian man of Arab origin filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing an Arab youth of assaulting him police summoned the suspect for interrogation, reports Al-Rai daily.
During interrogation the Arab youth admitted to the charge and claimed he acted to save the honor of his sister.
He added the Canadian was harassing his sister when she was in front of her building and could take it no more.
The Canadian has denied the allegation. Police are investigating.
