KUWAIT CITY, June 17: Police are investigating mystery surrounding a 5-year old child who died in Fahaheel recently, reports Al-Rai daily.
Sources said the family rushed the child to Fahaheel polyclinic where doctors declared he was already dead. During interrogation, the family maintained the maid was behind his death, stressing she must have used a piece of cloth to strangle the child while he was sleeping.
Meanwhile, the remains of an unidentified motorist who was run over and killed by a hit-and-run motorist, have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to security sources the man was run over when he was changing a flat tyre on the shoulder of the Fahaheel Expressway.
In another development, a worker met his untimely death, and another worker was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital after they fell from the sixth floor of an under-construction building in Shuwaikh area, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily did not give further details of the story.
