‘You are working for our mother’ - Restaurant manager beaten

KUWAIT CITY, June 17: Police are looking for three persons, believed to be Kuwaitis, for assaulting the manager of a fast food restaurant in Ardhiya, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said a Kuwaiti woman ordered food and was involved in an argument with the manager of the restaurant because according to her the employees took a little longer to deliver the food.
The manager got angry when the woman verbally abused him and reminded her that he was not ‘working for her’.
The woman drove off but after about half an hour the trio arrived at the restaurant and assaulted the manager and left with a parting message for the manager. ‘You are working for our mother’.
The manager has filed a complaint with the Farwaniya Police Station. He has also provided police the car plate number of the suspects. The police have also requested to view the CCTV camera footage installed in the restaurant.

Swindlers arrested: Police have arrested a sergeant major and a bedoun man for forging official documents and swindling an insurance company, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said the sergeant major took advantage of the situation when the investigator of the Salwa Police Station went to perform prayers by stealing his stamps and prepared a traffic accident showing damage to an expensive car belonging to a bedoun and received KD 18,000 from the insurance company.
The sergeant major also managed to get details of a person from the files of the investigator during his absence and showed him as second party in the traffic accident.
The theft of the stamps was discovered when the insurance company requested the police station to provide it with information about the second party, and the investigator denied knowledge of the accident.
Intensive investigations led to the arrest of the sergeant major and the bedoun. They have been referred to the authorities.
It has been reported the two suspects had agreed to share the money paid by the insurance company.
