KUWAIT CITY, June 17: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti youth and a young Egyptian woman for making love inside a parked car on an open ground in Nugra, reports Al-Rai daily.

An onlooker saw the couple and called the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry.
Police rushed to the spot and caught the couple in the act.

During interrogation the youth said he befriended the woman inside a commercial complex and she agreed to have fun in return for KD 30.

However, the woman denied the allegation and said the youth was in love with her. She added she gave in to his wishes because he promised to marry her.

The couple has been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department. A case of committing adultery has been registered against the couple.

Meanwhile, police have arrested a young couple for making love inside a Jeep which was parked near a commercial complex at an unidentified location, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to security sources the lovers were spotted by the security guards manning the CCTV camera room. When they saw the lovers in a hot scene, they called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior.

When police rushed to the spot, the woman sensing police arrival tried in vain to escape. Police discovered the youth is wanted by law and the young woman was reported missing by her family.

The couple has been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department.

In another development, an Egyptian woman has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing the manager of a hotel of luring her to commit immoral acts, reports Al-Rai daily.

When the manager was summoned by the police, he denied the accusation. He said the woman is blackmailing him because he demanded from her KD 1,200 which she owes the hotel in accommodation charges. Police are investigating.
