Kuwait Airways cabin crew girls found drunk with duo late at night
KUWAIT CITY, June 25: Police have arrested two men — a Kuwaiti and an Egyptian — and three Indonesian female cabin crew members working for the Kuwait Airways for consuming alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily.
The suspects were arrested while riding in a car at a late evening hour by a police patrol on duty.
During interrogation the drunkards said they were returning home after a party in Maseelah.
Drunkards fight: Kuwaiti Coast Guards have arrested five Kuwaitis, off the Kubbar Island, for fighting among themselves, reports Al-Rai daily.
One of them even fired at the others from point blank range but missed the target.
Reliable security sources said the men were under the influence of alcohol. They have been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department.
Meanwhile, an officer from the Salmiya Police Station has filed a complaint against a Kuwaiti of consuming alcohol while in police custody and verbally abusing and humiliating him, reports Al-Rai daily.
The drunkard requested the officer to bring him chicken and rice and when the officer refused, the drunkard hurled insults at him.
‘Ungrateful people’: Police are looking for an unidentified man, believed to be a Kuwaiti, for allegedly drinking alcohol and abusing the Egyptians, reports Al-Rai daily.
The search began when an Egyptian taxi driver complained to the authorities that a passenger he had picked at an unidentified location kept blaming the Egyptians for toppling former president Hosni Mubarak and described the Egyptians as ungrateful people only fit to create chaos. He also claimed now no one will visit to spend their holidays.
The taxi driver felt the man was under the influence of alcohol and instead of taking him to his destination in Sulaibikhat drove him to the Salmiya Police Station.
He stopped the taxi and went to call police, when police came looking for the man they did not find anyone.
Drugs seized: The Ahmadi police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for driving under the influence of drugs and possessing narcotic pills, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the man was arrested for reckless driving along the Coast Road in Fahaheel.
While issuing a citation police discovered he was under the influence of drugs. Police then searched him and seized from his possession 40 narcotic pills.
