KUWAIT CITY, June 26: Patrol officers from General Rescue Patrol Department started using the fingerprint system from June 5, 2012 that will assist them in arresting those individuals who are wanted by law and those who violated residency law.
Security Media Department revealed that the Ministry of Interior is working on implementing the latest international technology, which will assist the officers in carrying out their duties in the best possible manner.

Trio caught: Three teenaged boys were caught in the act of stealing a vehicle in Jahra recently.
While patrolling the area, a team of securitymen from the Jahra Security Directorate noticed the suspicious behavior of the suspects who were inside a vehicle.  When the officers questioned them, the teenagers admitted to trying to steal the car, so they were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Iranians held:
Two Iranians were arrested in Amghara for stealing iron. A team of securitymen on night duty in the area noticed the erratic movement of a vehicle, so they signaled for the driver to pull over.  When the officers approached the vehicle, they noticed it was loaded with iron.  This has prompted an interrogation of the driver and his companion — both Iranians — who admitted to stealing iron from construction sites in the area. The suspects were referred to the relevant security department for prosecution.
