‘External forces attempt to instigate chaos in Kuwait’ Govt officials received info on suspicious movements

KUWAIT CITY, June 28: Some government officials have warned about attempts by external forces to instigate chaos in Kuwait, reports Al-Dar daily quoting sources.

Sources said these government officials are aware of the movements of such forces, hinting that a media-political group has been tasked to incite crisis. Sources disclosed the officials have received information on suspicious movements and money transfers amongst some politicians who often travel to a certain destination.

Sources affirmed the government has taken the necessary precautionary measures to prevent any untoward incident which might negatively affect Kuwait’s stability and security.

Commenting on the issue, MP Adnan Al-Mutawwa appealed to the concerned officials to quickly take the required steps to stop any foreign interference in the internal affairs of Kuwait. He urged the government to be vigilant to ensure the country is protected from the evil schemes of unscrupulous groups or individuals.
Al-Mutawwa asserted the ministries of Interior and Information must raise public awareness on the need to maintain national stability and security. He emphasized the importance of implementing laws to strengthen national unity but this is possible only if the country has a solid National Assembly, which is keen on implementing genuine reforms in the interest of the people rather than focusing on personal goals.
