KUWAIT CITY, June 29: Five Kuwaiti citizens were arrested for their involvement in a quarrel at a beach in Salmiya. During the quarrel, the front glass of the vehicle of one of the citizens was shattered.
When securitymen received information about the quarrel, they rushed to the location. However, the suspects escaped before the arrival of the securitymen.
During their investigations, securitymen discovered that two groups of Kuwaiti citizens had an argument over a girl, which eventually developed into a physical fight.
A case was registered at Salmiya police station and the securitymen managed to find and arrest all the suspects. They discovered that one of the suspects sustained injuries during the quarrel.

Drug pills found: A 34-year-old Asian taxi driver was recently arrested for possession of six narcotic pills.
Reportedly, when the vehicle stopped at a checking point, Farwaniya securitymen grew suspicious when they noticed the nervousness of the driver. They checked his vehicle and found six narcotic pills in it.
The suspect was arrested and referred with the illicit items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.

Gold stolen: An Arab lodged a complaint at Farwaniya police station against an unknown thief who broke into his house through the front door and stole gold worth KD 200.
Reportedly, when he and his family returned home, they noticed that the front door of the apartment was broken. When he went to his room to check the safe, he discovered that it was damaged and the gold that was in the safe was missing. Securitymen and criminal evidence officers rushed to the location and lifted fingerprints from the site. Investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects.

Kuwaiti held drunk: A 24-year-old Kuwaiti citizen was recently arrested for drunk driving in Hawally.
When securitymen received several complaints regarding a drunk Kuwaiti citizen, they rushed to the location and arrested the suspect.
He was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.

Jeep catches fire: Fire engulfed an American-made jeep in Salmiya at the parking area of Kuwait Cooperative Society. No injuries were reported.
When the Operations Room at Ministry of Interior received information about the vehicle on fire, firefighters along with securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and extinguished the fire within a short time.
They discovered that the cause of the fire was due to an electrical malfunction in the engine of the vehicle.
Since the owner of the vehicle was not at the location, the vehicle was referred to Salmiya police station where the owner’s details will be obtained.
