Travellers asked to take necessary precautions ‘Interior’ adopts security measures
KUWAIT CITY, July 2: Ministry of Interior has adopted precautionary security measures for the traveling season and summer, reports Al-Seyassah.
The ministry’s Director of Public Relations and Moral Guidance Colonel Emad Al-Mulla was quoted as saying the department with the Security Information Unit is working tirelessly to spread awareness in this regard via electronic and print media.
As the traveling season begins, Al-Mulla calls on individuals to take necessary precautions and lock all doors and windows of their homes, and also switch off the power and water supply before traveling.
He urged travelers to move all valuable items to storage units inside their houses or the banks for safe keeping, and notify the concerned authorities on the duration of travel.
Al-Mulla asked travelers to bring with them essential luggage, and if necessary, they shouldn’t be accompanied by many family members and relatives to facilitate traveling procedures.
Finally, he implored travelers to abide by safety regulations and respect the rules of countries they are traveling to.
