‘You are good for flirting’

KUWAIT CITY, July 3: Police have arrested an unidentified woman for driving under the influence of alcohol and abusing police on duty, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the woman was wanted by law for a similar charge.
Security sources said the woman was ordered to pull over for reckless driving in Nugra and when an officer walked to her car to issue her a citation, he got the smell of alcohol.
When the officer asked to see her ID she reportedly hurled abuses at the officer. She only told the officer the police are only good for flirting with women.
She has been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department.

Stealing from police: Police are looking for two unidentified persons for attempting to steal a car which had been impounded by police and taken to the General Traffic Department garage, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to security sources the suspects sneaked into the garage in Mina Abdullah and tried to drive away with the car.
However, they were stopped by the security guards at the gate. The men then abandoned their attempt and escaped in a waiting car.
The senior official at the garage and the guards have filed a complaint with the police.

Is this my home?: Police have arrested a bedoun for consuming and possessing drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The addict was under the influence of drugs, lost his way and entered the home of a Kuwaiti man in Al-Qasr.
The owner of the house was shocked when he saw a stranger in his house and called police.
Police searched the man and found in his possession a sachet of heroin. He has been handed over to the concerned authorities.

Precious stones stolen:
A prominent businessman has filed a complaint with the Shamiya Police Station accusing an unidentified person of breaking into his house in Shuwaikh and stealing valuable watches and beads made of precious stones, reports Al-Shahed daily.
In his complaint to the police the man said the servant went upstairs when he heard strange noises and saw a person wearing sports outfit escaping carrying a bag in hand.

The vanishing trick: Police have arrested a youth from an unidentified Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) country for swindling expatriates and citizens, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the man lured his victims to invest in his real estate business and after receiving the money did the vanishing trick.
Following complaints from the victims, police set a trap for him and caught him red-handed.
He has been handed over the concerned authorities before he is sent to the Sentences Enforcement Department for serving an earlier three-year jail term.
