Catch me if you can, says drunkard Jordanian stabbed
KUWAIT CITY, July 5: A GCC youth was recently arrested for drunk driving and possession of liquor.
Reportedly, the drunk youth stopped his vehicle on the road in Salmiya and waved a liquor bottle to the passersby in a defiant manner, challenging anybody to come and arrest him.
One of the passersby took the keys from the vehicle and contacted the Operations Room at Ministry of Interior to inform them about the incident.
Hawally police on patrol in Salmiya rushed to the location and arrested the youth.
He was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
4 caught drunk: Four Kuwaiti citizens were recently arrested in Salmiya for consuming liquor.
Reportedly, when police on patrol in Salmiya saw a man along with three other passengers driving a vehicle recklessly, they stopped them for investigations and discovered that the driver and passengers were Kuwaitis and were under the influence of liquor.
They were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
Jordanian stabbed: A Kuwaiti citizen stabbed a Jordanian youth on the neck during a quarrel that occurred between them in Hawally.
The victim was rushed to Mubarak Hospital for treatment.
According to security sources, after the victim received treatment, he filed a case against the suspect at Hawally police station after submitting a medical report to prove the accusation.
Investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect.
Cabbie assaulted: A 32-year-old Bangladeshi taxi driver sustained severe injuries when he was assaulted by some malicious youths in front of a complex in Salmiya.
When the Operations Room at Ministry of Interior received information about the victim, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and referred the victim to Mubarak Hospital for treatment.
Investigations are ongoing to arrest the youths who had escaped before the arrival of the securitymen.
Wanted man held: A Kuwaiti citizen was recently arrested in Salmiya as he was wanted by law for his involvement in 14 civil and drug cases.
According to the security sources, Hawally police on patrol in Salmiya suspected the youth and stopped him for checking. When they checked his details, they discovered that he was wanted by law as he was involved in 12 civil cases and two drug cases.
He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
