KUWAIT CITY, July 5: The Criminal Court in Kuwait is expected to rule on the case of two unidentified persons accused of blackmailing British girls, residing in Kuwait, to pose nude in front of a webcam, on Aug 18, reports Alam Alyawm daily quoting sources.
Sources revealed the suspects stole the email addresses of some British girls, between 12 to 15 years old, who were allegedly forced to pose nude and do indecent acts in front of a webcam with the intention of posting the photographs and videos on YouTube.  Sources said the victims later informed their parents who sought the assistance of the British Child Protection Center, which contacted the British Embassy to take the necessary procedures to rescue their children.
A complaint was then referred to the Public Prosecution and a security team was formed to arrest the suspects who admitted the crime.  Sources confirmed the investigators found the photos and videos of the children stored in the laptops of the suspects. Sources added the suspects are now detained at the Central Jail, awaiting trial.

Teen girls blackmailed: Personnel from the Ministry of Interior, e-crimes department have arrested an Arab man for blackmailing female teenagers, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The arrest came when the victims filed a complaint with the Director-General of the General Department for Criminal Investigation accusing the man of blackmailing them by threatening to post their pictures on various websites.
The victims told the investigator they got acquainted with the suspect while chatting via the Internet.
After the complaint was filed the e-crimes department picked the man from Salmiya. Police then armed with search warrant inspected his apartment and on his laptop found pictures of several young women.
