Interior plans to ‘activate’ administrative deportation for expats
KUWAIT CITY, July 8: The Ministry of Interior plans to activate the ‘administrative deportation law’ for expatriates, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the law those who commit severe offences can be administratively deported to their home countries.
A reliable source said the severe offences include jumping the red traffic light, hawkers and failure to pay state dues.
The same source said the ministry has formed a joint committee comprising members from various government bodies to arrest violators and adopt necessary measures to deport them.
The sources revealed immediate deportation will include expatriates who violate penal, health, Municipal, labor and traffic laws.
