Jewelry worth over KD 10,000, cash stolen from three homes Citizen accuses Asian of betrayal of trust

KUWAIT CITY, July 13: A Kuwaiti citizen recently filed a case in Bayan police station against unknown individuals who broke into his house and stole jewelry worth KD 3,000 and official documents.
According to the case files, when the citizen returned to his house, he was surprised to find his front gate open and when he checked his house, he discovered that the burglars broke into his room and stole the valuables.
Officers from Criminal Evidence Department checked his house for evidences and lifted fingerprints. Investigations are ongoing to find the suspects and retrieve the stolen items.
Meanwhile, an unidentified Egyptian engineer has filed a complaint with the Mangaf police accusing unidentified persons of breaking into his apartment and stealing money and jewelry worth KD 10,000 in addition to currency of an European country, reports Annahar daily.
The complainant said he discovered the theft when he returned home from work in the early hours of the night.
He added he was shocked to find the front door ajar. When he walked in he discovered his house had been ransacked.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the thief.
In the meantime, the Ahmadi police are looking for an unidentified thief who allegedly broke into the apartment of an Egyptian family and stole KD 2,000 and jewelry, reports Al-Rai daily.

Betrayal of trust: A 60-year-old Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the Mubarak Al-Kabir Police Station accusing a Bangladeshi of betrayal of trust and swindling him, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the complainant he gave the Bangladeshi KD 3,000 to bring medicine - the daily did not say from where.
However, when the Kuwaiti confronted the Bangladeshi because he did not bring the medicine, the latter demanded KD 1,000 more.
When the Kuwaiti asked for his money, the Bangladeshi refused to give. Police are investigating.
