KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Police are looking for an Egyptian youth said to have raped a compatriot girl inside a flat at Salmiya, reports Al-Rai daily.
The victim filed a complaint with officers at Salmiya police station and narrated she made friends with the youth whom she trusted completely. For this reason, she honored an invitation to his apartment in Salmiya, where the youth had sex with her by force.
During interrogation, police gathered adequate information about the suspect and the complainant was referred to Forensics to verify her story.

Cheat taxi driver: Police have arrested a Bangladeshi roaming taxi driver for escaping with electrical appliances belonging to a compatriot passenger, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said the Bangladeshi man filed a complaint against a compatriot taxi driver who sped off with electrical appliances he had purchased from a shop, while he was loading the items into the taxi.
The complainant said he was surprised when the driver drove off suddenly, as he was about to board the car after loading the items inside the trunk.
Following intensive investigations by securitymen, upon information the victim provided, the thief was arrested in possession of the loot.
