KUWAIT CITY, July 15: The manager of a restaurant in Salmiya was assaulted recently by a Kuwaiti citizen, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Reportedly, when the securitymen received information about the incident, they rushed to the location.
The citizen informed securitymen that he lost his temper and assaulted the manager when his son suffered from food poisoning after eating a meal from the restaurant. However, the employees at the restaurant denied this accusation.
The securitymen managed to take control of the situation and resolved the issue amicably.

2 held stealing: Two individuals were arrested while trying to steal iron rods in Amghara area, and three others managed to escape.
Security sources said officers on routine patrol in the area spotted a truck at a parking lot and approached it for investigation, and then suddenly, the suspects jumped out of the truck in an attempt to flee from the officers who chased and subsequently arrested two of them. However, three other suspects escaped. Those arrested have since been referred to the relevant authority and the search is ongoing to trail the rest.
