Two women, three men die in various mishaps country-wide Govt denies Kuwaiti officer assaulted in Jordan

KUWAIT CITY, July 16: A Kuwaiti woman died on the spot following a two-vehicle collision on the Fourth Ring Road, reports Al-Rai daily.
The corpse of the victim has been referred to Forensics. The other motorist has been referred to a police station for interrogation.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old bedoun woman died on the spot following a three-vehicle collision at an unidentified location, reports Al-Anba daily.
A Kuwaiti woman who was seriously injured has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Jahra Hospital.
Acting on information police and paramedics rushed to the spot but failed to rescue the bedoun.
Two Kuwaitis and an Egyptian have been referred to the area police station for interrogation.

Indian drowns: A 28-year-old Indian man drowned while swimming off a beach in Bneid Al-Gar, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Acting on information paramedics rushed to the spot and tried in vain to revive him. The remains of the man have been referred to Forensics.

Ethiopian dead: An Ethiopian man, who is believed to be in his 40s, recently ended his life by hanging himself with a rope tied to the ceiling fan in his sponsor’s house in Mahboula, reports Al-Anba daily.
Without going into details the daily said the death was reported to the police by the sponsor. The daily did not give more details.
In another incident, a Korean worker who was accidentally run over by a excavator operator at a construction site in Mina Abdullah reportedly died on the spot, reports Al-Rai daily.
Without going into details of the incident the daily said the coworkers rushed the victim to the Adan hospital, but he was declared dead upon arrival.

Report denied: Commenting on what had been published Sunday by a local Arabic daily, a government source has denied that a Kuwaiti officer was assaulted by employees of a hospital in Amman, Jordan, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The source admitted there was some kind of altercation but it was merely a misunderstanding between the officer and hospital staff and that the issue was resolved without incident.
The source added the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan, Dr Hamad Al-Duaij was the first person to contact the officer to get first hand information and according to reports the officer denied being assaulted.
The Ambassador also denied that the officer has filed a complaint with the Jordanian security authorities. What happened, he said, was a misunderstanding that was resolved amicably.
Earlier it was reported the Kuwaiti military attaché working at the Embassy of Kuwait in Amman, Jordan, had filed a complaint with the Jordanian authorities accusing employees of a private hospital of assaulting him in front of his wife.
The diplomat had allegedly said when he approached the counter to get a medical document stamped he found no one and when the receptionist returned to his desk he was involved in an argument with the attaché following which other employees sided with the receptionist and attacked the attaché.

Female fury: Police referred a Kuwaiti policewoman and an Asian motorist to the Faiha Police Station. The suspects were involved in a fight over the right of way while driving at an unidentified location, reports Al-Rai daily.
When someone informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior that a female motorist was beating a male motorist, police rushed to the spot and referred the duo to the police station.
