‘Sex education’ may be taught in schools Syrian teachers contracts renewed
KUWAIT CITY, July 17: Ministry of Education (MoE) is seriously studying the prospect of including sex education in the school curricula and a memo will be presented to the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Nayef Al-Hajraf in this regard, reports Al-Kuwaitiya daily.
In another development, the Undersecretary of Education Tamadher Al-Sdeirawi has issued a decision to renew the contracts of Syrian teachers who have completed their term with the ministry-until the end of academic year 2012/2013, without taking into account the number of times they have gone through the process.

KUWAIT CITY: Director General of Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) Dr Abdulrazak Al-Nafisi continues his tenure as the head of PAAET, reports Al-Kuwaitiya daily.
The daily quoted sources as saying Al-Nafisi will not file his resignation, and he will carry on as the director of the institution until the end of his tenure.
