Director General of the Kuwait Municipality Eng Ahmad Al-Subeih has approved the proposal to continue inspection campaigns during Ramadan to track down those who violate food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as the hawkers, says Public Relations Department Director at the Municipality Rashid Al-Hashan.
In a press statement Al-Hashan disclosed the inspectors will monitor food shops and other establishments in the six governorates to protect the health of consumers, in addition to checking advertising billboards and posters to ensure strict compliance with the law.
Al-Hashan said the inspectors will closely coordinate with various Municipality branches throughout the country to ensure the success of the inspection campaigns which will be carried out round the clock.
