UWAIT CITY, July 21: An Egyptian national was arrested recently by security officials in Qatar for fleeing from Kuwait after stealing KD 3 million from the Patients Helping Fund Society, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to a security source, the Kuwaiti authorities continued to monitor the movement of the Egyptian suspect after he committed the crime and fled the country few years back.
He revealed that the relevant authorities coordinated with the Interpol branches in several countries, which eventually led to the arrest of the suspect in Qatar.
He added that the suspect would be handed over to Kuwaiti authorities for necessary legal action against him.

Asian attempts suicide: An Asian woman attempted to commit suicide by swallowing bleaching liquid Clorox at Mubarak Al-Kabir, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Reportedly, paramedics along with securitymen rushed to the location when they received information about the suicide attempt and referred the victim to Adan Hospital where she was referred to the Intensive Care Unit due to the seriousness of her condition.
A case of suicide attempt was registered against her and securitymen are waiting for the revival of her health to interrogate her and know the cause of the suicide attempt.
