Asian expat beaten, robbed One hurt in Egyptian brawl

KUWAIT CITY, July 23: An Asian expatriate lodged a complaint at a police station stating that a few unidentified thugs stopped him on the road and stole his cellphone and money.
He explained that the thugs stopped him by blocking his way, assaulted him and grabbed his cellphone and money before fleeing.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects and retrieve the stolen items.

Egyptian hurt: An Egyptian expatriate fractured his nose and sustained other injuries during a quarrel with his compatriot on Canada Dry Street in Shuwaikh, Monday.
When the Operations Room at Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel, securitymen and paramedics rushed to location and found the victim lying unconscious on the ground. Paramedics referred the victim to Sabah Hospital for treatment.
A case was registered and securitymen are on the lookout for the other man involved in the quarrel.

Car on fire: Fire broke out in a vehicle in Abdullah Al-Mubarak Area. No casualties were reported.
Reportedly, when Operations Room at Fire Service Directorate received information about the fire, firefighters rushed to the location and extinguished the fire in a short time before it spread to nearby structures. Investigations are ongoing to know the cause of the fire.
