Kuwaitis complain ‘rowdy’ behaviour of youths in Jahra 15 youths arrested with cars in raid
KUWAIT CITY, July 23: Officers from Jahra Security Department launched impromptu campaigns in certain areas of Jahra Governorate, during which they arrested 15 youths and seized their vehicles.
According to sources, the security department received several complaints from some residents in these areas regarding the careless acts of youths which caused disturbance to the residents of those areas.
Securitymen carried out abrupt campaigns during which these youths were arrested.
Sources added that the campaigns will continue until such phenomenon is eliminated.
12 vehicles seized:Officers from Hawally Traffic Department launched impromptu campaigns in different areas within the Hawally Governorate to limit traffic violations by road users.
During the campaigns, officers issued 60 traffic violations and seized 12 vehicles for violating traffic rules.
Reportedly, the campaigns were carried out by setting up security checkpoints at the exits and entrances of several areas within Hawally Governorate.
At a security checkpoint on Al-Muthanabi Street in Salwa, officers arrested few reckless drivers and seized their vehicles, which were referred o the concerned authorities.
Security sources confirmed that such traffic campaigns will continue throughout the holy month of Ramadan to control traffic jams and arrest reckless drivers who endanger the lives of other road users.
