Saudi falls dead in Net cafe; Kuwaiti’s suicide bid foiled
KUWAIT CITY, July 24: An inmate of Central Jail experienced nausea and other health difficulties due to drug overdose recently.
According to security sources, when the inmate complained of nausea and other difficulties, securitymen rushed him to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment.
Investigations revealed that he had consumed drugs inside his cell.
Further investigations are ongoing to find out how the suspect obtained drugs.
Saudi dies in cafe: A 20-year-old Saudi youth died inside an Internet café in Jahra while browsing, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The youth was browsing on the Internet and he suddenly collapsed and fell on the floor.
The corpse of the youth has been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death.
Youth held with drugs: A youth was arrested recently in Salmiya for possession of narcotic pills.
Reportedly, police on patrol in Salmiya suspected the youth when he started acting nervous after seeing the officers.
They stopped him for investigations and checked him to find some pills that looked like narcotic pills.
He was referred with the pills to the concerned authorities for investigations and identification of the type of pills.
Kuwaiti in suicide bid: The Saudi authorities have referred a Kuwaiti youth to the Psychiatric Hospital following a void attempt to end his life by jumping from a mountain in Saudi Arabia, reports Al-Shahed daily.’
The daily quoting security sources said some tourists caught the man and handed him over to the police.
It has been reported the youth is suffering from psychological problems. Police later handed over the youth to his family.
Criminals arrested: Ahmadi securitymen arrested a number of individuals in Wafra who were wanted by law for criminal cases.
Reportedly, police on patrol in the area grew suspicious and stopped the suspects for checking their Civil IDs. When they discovered that the suspects were wanted by law for several criminal cases, they were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
Phone snatched: Police are looking for an unidentified person for stealing the cell phone from a Kuwaiti while he was inside a café, reports Al-Anba daily.
A complaint has been filed with the Dai’ya Police Station.
The man said the cell phone was on a table in the café and he did not even notice when someone picked it.
The man added his life will be destroyed if someone posts the contents from the cell phone on the website, including important personal messages and video clips.
The source added there is coordination with a telecommunication company to identify the thief.
