Kuwaiti thrashes shop worker Arrest warrant for MPs

KUWAIT CITY, July 24: Some Internet sites said the authorities in the United Arab Emirates have issued arrest warrants against a number of people including two Kuwaiti MPs following a clampdown on a terrorist cell last week, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting knowledgeable sources.
It has been reported the UAE authorities say the two MPs have a link to the terrorist organization.

Indian betrays trust: Police are looking for an Indian salesman in the case of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with the Farwaniya Police Station accusing the salesman of his shop of stealing KD 300 and a number of cell phones.

Shop worker thrashed: Police have taken into custody a Kuwaiti man for assaulting an employee of a shop selling electrical appliances, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the arrest came after the Kuwaiti went to the shop and complained one of the spare parts which he had bought from the shop one day earlier was not genuine.
He reportedly argued with the employees and beat one of them mercilessly. The employee has been hospitalized.
