Two critically hurt in all-Egyptian fight

KUWAIT CITY, July 25: Two Egyptian expatriates sustained serious injuries during a quarrel that broke out among a group of Egyptian expatriates at night recently in Dajeej.
Reportedly, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. They referred the injured victims who were lying on the ground, to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment.
Securitymen have started investigations to determine the cause of the quarrel.

Crackdown continues: The General Traffic Department (GTD) continued its surprise inspection campaigns in Hawally, Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Jahra, during which the traffic officers issued 513 traffic citations and impounded 19 vehicles.
In a press statement Wednesday, the department said 16 direct citations and 102 indirect were issued in Hawally; 31 direct citations and 36 indirect in Mubarak Al-Kabeer where one vehicle was also impounded; while in Jahra 49 direct citations and 255 indirect were issued for various traffic violations.
Meanwhile, officers from the Operations Department launched a similar campaign along Al-Ghous Street, resulting in the issuance of 24 citations and confiscation of 18 vehicles.

Boy bitten by fish: A 14-year-old boy sustained injuries when a fish bit him at the Fish Market in Sharq.
Paramedics rushed to the location after receiving a call from one of those who witnessed the incident. The boy was taken to Amiri Hospital.
