Bangladeshis attempt to enter on forged passports Indian held begging
KUWAIT CITY, July 26: A police squad, formed by the Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major-General AbdulHameed Al-Awadhi has arrested an unidentified Indian disabled man for begging for alms, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources police interrogations discovered the man had inflicted injuries on himself to help him beg for alms.
He has been referred to the concerned authorities.
B’deshis arrested: Two Bangladeshi expatriates were recently arrested at Kuwait International Airport for attempting to enter the country using forged passports, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Acting on suspicion, immigration officers at the airport referred the two passports to the Forgery Department, where it was confirmed that they were forged.
The suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
Rude cashier: An unidentified 68-year-old man has filed a complaint with the police accusing the cashier of a home appliances store affiliated to a cooperative society of assaulting him, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to the complainant he went to the store and asked the cashier the price of one of the items on display.
The cashier allegedly shouted at the man for disturbing him and said the prices are written at the bottom of the item.
At this point the elderly man walked to the cashier and told him he should not treat customers in this manner.
The cashier reportedly got angry and pushed him on the floor and beat him.
He has submitted a medical report to substantiate his claim.
