Minister sacks MoI officer for raping Filipina Police probe Asian’s fall to death

KUWAIT CITY, July 26: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior has issued a decision to suspend an undisclosed officer in the Ministry of Interior for allegedly raping a Filipino woman, reports Al-Rai daily quoting reliable sources.
According to security sources the officer, an employee of the Ahmadi Security Directorate was on his way to work.
He allegedly saw the victim walking along the road and demanded to see her ID. Under some pretext he ordered her to get into the vehicle, took her to an undisclosed place and raped her.

 Police probe Asian’s fall to death: An Asian expatriate in his 30s died when he fell from the seventh floor of a building in Farwaniya.
Reportedly, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the incident, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. They referred the corpse to the Forensics Department for autopsy. Securitymen have started investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
