Arab expat involved in multiple robberies in the Capital governorate
Wife of expat seduced Brothers accused of beating couple acquitted in appeal

KUWAIT CITY, July 30: The Misdemeanor Court of Appeals supervised by Judge Dhari Ali suspended the enforcement of a year’s imprisonment sentence slapped on the three brothers accused of beating an expatriate and his wife, and ordered the defendants to sign an undertaking of good conduct for one year, without a bail bond.
The Public Prosecution charged the first suspect for beating, harming and inciting the expatriate’s wife to commit debauchery, and all three suspects were also accused of beating and causing injuries to the man.
However, attorney Hassan Al-Ajmi argued the complaint lacks logic because it’s merely based upon the testimonies given by the victims, and without any concrete evidence to support the claim.

Citizen absolved
: The Misdemeanor Court has acquitted a Kuwaiti citizen of violence and stealing from a grocery store.
The defense counsel Mohammad Al-Otaibi said the Public Prosecution referred his client to court for allegedly using violence to steal cash and telephone recharge cards from a grocery store.
The lawyer faulted the investigation conducted by detectives in that regard, and maintained the findings didn’t include concrete evidence to indict his client.

Arab expat in multiple thefts: Police recently arrested an Arab expat involved in multiple robberies in the Capital governorate, according to a local Arabic daily. The robber specialized in stealing from cars, shops and vacant homes. The suspect was caught red-handed breaking into a shop by police patrol. Upon interrogation he led the police to his home where the stolen goods and tools used to commit robberies were found.
