1 to hospital, 1 to police in fight
KUWAIT CITY, July 30: A youth sustained serious injuries recently following a quarrel with another in Sulaibiya.
Reportedly, the argument between the youths over a previous conflict quickly escalated into a fistfight. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location when they received information about the quarrel and referred the injured victim to the nearest hospital for treatment.
A case was registered and the other suspect was summoned to the police station for interrogations.
Cars seized: Securitymen launched intensive security campaigns on Al-Ghous street in Mubarak Al-Kabeer against recklessness on roads and seized seven vehicles. The vehicles were referred to the Seized-Vehicle Garage.
A security source stressed that such campaigns will be continued to eliminate recklessness on the roads that endanger the lives of the road users, and to arrest reckless drivers and violators of traffic rules.
Flat on fire: Fire broke out in an apartment of a building in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh recently. No casualties were reported.
Reportedly, when the Operations Room at Fire Service Directorate received information about the fire, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the location. They extinguished the fire within a short time before it spread further.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, acting on information firemen from the Sulaibiya Fire Center rushed to a Kuwaiti house in the area and put out fire before it caused extensive damage, reports Al-Anba daily. The source did not say what caused the fire. No casualties have been reported.
