Kuwait’s Al Rashid marches on at Oly LONDON, July 30, (KUNA): Qatari Nasser Al-Attiyah and Kuwaiti Abdullah Al-Rashid stood fourth and sixth respectively in qualifying for the second stage of men’s skeet shooting at the London Olympic Games. Al-Attiyah hit 72 out of 75 targets on day one of qualifying at London’s Royal Artillery Barracks Monday while Al-Rashed hit 71 targets.
Saeed al-Maktoum of the United Arab Emirates came 11th hitting 70 out of 75 targets, Egypt’s shooter Mustafa Hamdi stood 16th hitting 70, Saudi Majed Al-Tamim came 34th hitting 65 targets. Vincent Hancock of the United States came first with 74 hits ahead of the second round of qualifying on Tuesday morning. The final will take place on Tuesday afternoon. The scores from the final are added to the qualifying scores to determine final positions.
