Residence transfer for university degree holder
I am an engineer and have a valid degree attested by the Kuwait embassy. Because of some issues I had the first time locally transferred my visa last month (June 2012) to my friend’s company. He did this to provide me a job in his company. Now I have a new job in a reputed company and I have accepted their offer. I want to know whether I will be able to transfer my visa to the new company within one month as my friend is ready to give me a release. Is there any chance that the visa office can put hold on my transfer or it can be done easily without hindrance?

If you have a university degree and both the sides are ready to give/accept your transfer then you will not have any problems.
Please remember that this will not be the decision of the Interior Ministry or the Immigration Dept, but the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor which sanctions such transfers.
The Ministry can, however, object or refuse the transfer if it feels that ‘visa trafficking’ is involved.
Secondly, if you are not a university degree holder then you will have to wait for at least a year before you can transfer.
