Egyptian rep of real estate firm escapes with KD 8,000 rent money Motorcyclist snatches Filipina’s handbag containing KD 240
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 3: Police are looking for an unidentified Egyptian representative of a real estate company for allegedly embezzling KD 8,000 rent money belonging to the company, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the legal representative of the company has filed a complaint against the suspect at the Salhiya Police Station.
The daily added a travel ban has been issued against the man and his name and personal data has been circulated at all border points to prevent him from escaping the country.
According to the complainant the suspect collected the rent money from apartments and instead of depositing the cash with the company, escaped with the money.
Meanwhile, a Filipino woman filed a complaint with officers at the police station in Mahboula and accused an unidentified man of stealing her handbag containing KD 240 cash, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to the woman, the thief was riding on a motorcycle when suddenly he attacked her and then snatched the handbag and fled the scene.
Apparently, the woman had kept her monthly salary of KD 240 inside the handbag, which she intended to send it to her family back home when the thief stole it. A case was registered for investigation.
