KUWAIT CITY, Aug 3: A 17-year-old bedoun succumbed to his injuries after he was repeatedly stabbed by his friend in South Jahra Friday.
According to sources the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a call that a teenager was lying in a pool of blood. Paramedics rushed to the spot and took the victim to the Intensive Care Unit of the Jahra Hospital but the youth died a little while later.
The suspect accompanied by his cousin is said to have surrendered to the area police station.
During initial interrogation he admitted to the charge. He said he did not intend to kill the ‘friend’. He said it just happened while playing.
The accused and his cousin have been referred for further interrogations. The remains of the victim have been referred to Forensics.

2 youths held over ‘death’: The Jahra CID men have arrested two unidentified youths for dumping the remains of their friend in front of the Jahra Hospital Thursday late evening.
According to reliable security sources, police began investigations soon after the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a call that unidentified persons had dumped a corpse in front of the hospital.
Police investigations showed three youths were consuming drugs and one of them died after taking an overdose.
The two youths have been referred to the concerned authorities. The remains of the victim have been referred to Forensics.
