KAC administration lacks job stability, credibility: Al-Hajri Employees urged to stand firm

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: Chairperson of the Workers Union at Kuwait Airways Corpor-ation (KAC) Abdullah Al-Hajri alleges the higher administration of KAC lacks credibility, transparency and job stability, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

Al-Hajri added the activities at KAC are abounding with personal interests without application of company laws and agreements.

He stressed that the rights of KAC workers are not preserved and some officials of the company play with the work, thus Kuwaitis are beginning to lose confidence in the company itself.

He mentioned that malfunctions that may occur on the KAC flights arises from confusion in the flights schedules, indicating many of their aircrafts are outdated and with recurring technical problems.

He reiterated the interests of the staff are disrupted by delaying their rights, stressing the act is dangerous and violates international laws and conventions. He also considered the situation as flagrant contravention of humanitarian standards.

Al-Hajri called on the employees of KAC to stand firm to protest their bad treatment, and also warned of severe consequences in case the company declines to respect and approve their rights.

He implored the concerned authorities and government must support the company and save it from breakdown, so that it could earn a place among the international airlines.
