KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9: An Ethiopian housemaid aborted her baby inside the bathroom of her sponsor’s house in Ahmadi recently.
Reportedly, when her sponsor heard someone screaming from the bathroom of his house, he rushed to investigate and saw his housemaid giving birth.
He rushed her to the clinic, where the medical staff guided the delivery process to completion, producing a stillborn. A case of murder and illegitimate pregnancy was registered against the housemaid.
Securitymen are waiting for the revival of her health to know the identity of the stillborn’s father.

Photographer not paid KD 110: An unidentified photographer has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing a Kuwaiti woman of not paying him KD 110, part payment after the job was completed, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The photographer said he signed a contract with the woman to take birthday pictures of her son for KD 220. She paid the man KD 110 in advance and the rest had to be paid after the job was done.
The woman will be summoned for interrogation.

12 men, women arrested: The Ahmadi police have arrested 12 men and women, believed to be Asians for gambling and indulging in immoral activities, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police acting on information raided an apartment in Abu Halifa and arrested the suspects. Prior to the arrests the daily added, all exits were sealed by police patrols to prevent the suspects from escaping.
Police reports say the women were reported absconders by their sponsors. All those arrested have been referred to the concerned authorities for legal action.
