Egyptian neighbour tries his luck on Omani woman
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9: An Omani woman lodged a complaint recently at Jabriya police station against her Egyptian neighbor who insulted her with offensive words when she rejected his attempts to court her.
Reportedly, when she stepped out her apartment in Jabriya, her neighbor was waiting outside and he tried to woo her. When she rejected his attempts, he began insulting her using offensive words and said, “You are lucky to be wooed by someone like me”.
A case of misconduct was registered against him and he was summoned to the police station for interrogations.
Bag with valuables stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified person for breaking into the car of a Kuwaiti man which was parked in front of a mosque in a suburb of Surra and stealing a bag containing valuables, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The victim said the incident happened while he was praying inside the mosque. A complaint has been filed at the area police station.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the thief.
Egyptian assaulted: Police are looking for an unidentified Egyptian man for allegedly assaulting a compatriot and causing him fracture in the arm, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources the suspect’s cousin was involved in an argument with the victim. The suspect then confronted the victim and beat him.
He is also said to have threatened to kill him if he informed the police.
