Three Asian expats ‘perish’ in 3-vehicle collision, 1 hurt
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 16: Three Asians died on the spot and another expatriate was severely injured in a horrifying traffic accident at Doha Junction off the Sixth Ring Road.
Acting on information, securitymen, firemen and paramedics rushed to the scene where the lorry, heavy duty truck and a tow truck had collided claiming three lives. The injured person was rushed to the Jahra Hospital for treatment and the remains were deposited to forensics.
In another incident, 39-year-old Pakistani national, an Egyptian in his 40 years with two citizens — 44 and 55 years old respectively, sustained various degrees of injuries in a three-vehicle collision at the intersection near Sabah Al-Salem area and the General Customs Department. The injured people were referred to the Farwaniya Hospital by paramedics for medical care.
Meanwhile, four Egyptians were severely injured during a traffic accident on the Sixth Ring Road near 360 Mall. They were carried to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital with the help of paramedics.
A 40-year-old Egyptian and 25-year-old Bedoun were injured in a two-car crash on the Fifth Ring Road. Paramedics were on hand to refer the injured people to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment.
And, on the Arabian Gulf Street, two citizens in their 20s suffered injuries after their vehicles smashed into each other. They were rushed to the Amiri Hospital.
