KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: The Personal Status Law Court presided over by Judge Abdullah Al-Sairafi rejected the marital disobedience case filed by a man against his wife and obligated him to pay alimony and legal fees.
Defense lawyer Zainab Al-Ramzi requested the court to reject the case, as it would have obligated the wife to return to her husband’s house in conformity to Jaffari’s marital laws.
The ruling was based on three factors: the husband did not treat his wife with integrity; he did not provide for his wife and did not have his own marital house; he placed his wife at his father’s house.
