KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: An Egyptian woman was arrested recently for assaulting a compatriot after breaking into his apartment in Hawally, reports Al-Rai daily.
Reportedly, the Egyptian man called Operations Room at Ministry of Interior when he saw his neighbor pounding his front door using a pestle.
Before securitymen arrived at the location, the suspect broke into the house after damaging the front door and assaulted the man.
Securitymen arrested the suspect and took her to Hawally police station for interrogations.
She claimed that her neighbor deliberately disturbs and annoys her by knocking on the common wall or using the vacuum cleaner while she is sleeping.
A case was registered against her and she was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against her.
Meanwhile, an Egyptian woman was arrested recently for vandalizing a beauty salon, reports Al-Rai daily.
Reportedly, the suspect went to the beauty salon after reading an advertisement about the special discounts offered by the salon.
However, she was shocked to be kept waiting for very long time to finally be told that she cannot avail the discount, as her hair is too long.
In a fit of frustration, she damaged equipment worth more than KD 1,000 in the salon including a coffee machine.
The salon employees immediately contacted securitymen, who rushed to the location and arrested the suspect. She was taken to the police station for interrogations and a case was registered against her.
