I am working in a private company and my residence is expiring within 2 days. My company mandoop (representative) is unable to renew the residence because the company file has been closed by shoon (Ministry of Social Affairs & Labor). Now the mandoop is renewing my residency for 3 months.
If within 3 months the shoon does not open the company file then what will be the situation. Somebody told me I will have to exit the country. Is it correct?

Answer: This is a very complex situation. Sometimes, in such cases, the Ministry of Social Affairs & Labor allows transfers to other firms if you find a sponsor but such situations are rare.
Sometimes, the Immigration Dept allows temporary residence, which you are getting, beyond three months - one month at a time. But nowadays it has also become strict on this issue and normally does not allow such a residence beyond the 3 months.
In case you find yourself without residence, the best thing would be to take the case to court, which can authorise a transfer.
