KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department apprehended three juveniles — two citizens and Bedoun — for perpetrating 40 thefts at different locations countrywide, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Sources said a team of detectives headed by Colonel Hussein Dashti was formed to nail the suspects, following complaints the Criminal Investigation Department received about series of thefts at various commercial complexes, and plain-clothe police were able to nab all three suspects in the act after placing them under surveillance over a period.
The suspects have since been referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.

Spare parts, iPhone stolen: A Kuwaiti man working for the General Fire Fighting Department has filed a complaint with the Shuwaikh Industrial Area Police Station accusing an unidentified person of stealing spare parts, dyes and construction material from his shop, reports Annahar daily.
In his complaint to the police the man said he learnt of the theft when one of his employees informed him about it.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing ‘someone’ of stealing his iPhone while he was shopping at the Sulaibikhat Cooperative Society, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily.
