KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: Farwaniya securitymen have arrested several Asians wanted by law for their involvement in financial and criminal cases.
As part of its campaign to clamp down on criminals in the governorate, the Farwaniya Security Directorate recently set up check points in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and other areas, resulting in the arrest of 12 Asians wanted by law for various charges, including five involved in the local alcohol trade.
During the campaign, the directorate received information about a group of five Asians selling locally brewed alcohol in Jleeb. Acting on this information, a team of securitymen raided a flat in the area where they arrested five Asians and confiscated 200 bottles of local alcohol.
All the suspects were referred to the authorities for further interrogation and other necessary legal actions.
