Youth caught molesting minor

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: A Kuwaiti woman lodged a complaint in Sharq Police Station and said an Asian man had snatched her hand bag at a market in the area. The complainant provided securitymen with description of the thief for circulation at checkpoints to help track him down. The case was registered.
In other developments, a Pakistani taxi driver in his 40s reported at Hawally Police Station two persons assaulted him Saturday evening in Andalous, during a quarrel which started after he drove them to the area and they refused to pay the fare. He added the suspects beat him up and escaped. He supported his claim with a medical report, and the case was registered.
A 46-year-old Kuwaiti citizen filed a case in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station, saying his mobile phone shop was robbed Saturday. He told police an Egyptian employee of the shop had called to inform him about the theft. When he rushed to the shop, he discovered 14 mobile phones were stolen, in addition to phone cards and other items worth about KD 2,000. Criminal Evidence Men lifted fingerprints from the scene to trace the thieves.
Also, an Ethiopian woman in her 20s attempted suicide by slashing her veins in Rumaithiya. She was reportedly found in a pool of blood, and referred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Mubarak hospital by paramedics.

Minor girl molested: A Kuwaiti woman in her forties registered a case at the Sulaibiya Police Station on Sunday, accusing a GCC citizen of sexually assaulting her daughter.
The woman told officials she was shocked to find a GCC citizen aged 21 years assaulting her daughter - a minor - when she entered her house. The youth fled when he noticed that the woman had returned home.
Security officials recorded details of the incident and investigations are on to find and arrest the youth.
