KUWAIT CITY, Nov 6: The Jahra police have arrested a Bangladeshi man for entering the country on a forged passport, reports Al-Seyassah. According to security sources the man was earlier deported from the country after he was found guilty by a court. Police records show the man entered the country eight months ago. Legal measures are taken against the man to deport him from the country.
Bedoun with Kuwaiti ID held: The Jahra police arrested and released a ‘bedoun’ man for carrying the ID of a citizen, reports Al-Rai daily. The suspect was caught at a check point in Jahra. However, during interrogation he told police he is a Kuwaiti and that his citizenship has been withdrawn but he still keeps the ID. Police confiscated the ID and released the man after ensuring he does not have a criminal record.
Indian mugged in Fahaheel: Police are looking for unidentified persons for beating an Indian man and stealing his wallet containing KD 200, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. In his complaint the man said he was walking along a road in Fahaheel and the two men got down from their vehicle and attacked him. He has given police the description of the men and their car. Police are looking for the suspects.
2 army men die in accident: Two military men died on the spot after their vehicle overturned on the Seventh Ring road, reports Al-Rai daily. Acting on information the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior dispatched paramedics to the site of the accident and referred the remains to Forensics.
Citizen injured in accident: A 20-year-old Kuwaiti who was injured in a road accident on King Fahd Expressway has been admitted to the Adan Hospital, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The cause of the accident is not known.
