KUWAIT CITY, Nov 6: A Bangladeshi expatriate in his 40s sustained serious injuries and additional fractures when he threw himself from the third floor of a building in Hasawi area.
Acting on information received by the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry, security officers and paramedics rushed to the scene and referred the man to Farwaniya hospital, where he is receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Egyptian dies after iron bar falls on head : A 38-year-old Egyptian man died on the spot when a heavy iron bar fell on his head Thursday, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to eyewitness reports the iron bar was being lifted by a crane at a construction site in Hawalli and it came out of the groove and fell on the man’s head.
Acting on information paramedics rushed to the spot and carried the man to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital but he was declared dead upon arrival.
Initial post mortem reports show the weight of the iron bar cracked the man’s skull causing his instantaneous death.
Police are investigating the incident.
