KUWAIT CITY, Nov 6: The Criminal Court has sentenced a Pakistani man to death by hanging. He was charged by the Public Prosecution of trafficking in drugs, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
Case papers indicate the man was caught for attempting to smuggle huge quantity if hashish into the country.
During interrogation at the Public Prosecution he had admitted to committing the crime.
Police issue 36 citations: The Capital governorate police acting on complaints have issued citations to several motorists for parking their vehicles in places meant for the physically handicapped people, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In one such campaign the Faiha police are said to have issued 36 citations for motorists for parking their vehicles in such places during a daylong campaign.
The source added the campaigns will continue until people realize what they are doing is wrong.
