Irregularities detected in Army Fund

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has issued a decision to refer all irregularities in Army Fund and related accounts transactions to the Attorney General, reports Al-Anba daily.

The Ministry of Defense, in a press statement said the decision was issued after the committee formed to investigate the irregularities submitted its report to the minister it was decided that the issue must be submitted to the Attorney General.

The ministry added it is committed to the principle of transparency and the establishment of the rules of justice and impartiality by taking all legal measures to protect public money.
